About

I have been working with Unified Communications (UC) since 2011, my first experience being with OpenScape UC from Siemens. At that time it seemed a good product if you wanted a strong VoIP solution. The users were expecting more, so a Team was created to deploy Microsoft Lync 2010.

After 2 months we stepped from pilot to production. Since then, my job has been to develop a topology, deploying new roles like Edge Server and Monitoring Server. Also, new features like Mobility.

Now I am working for Microsoft Communications Support Team with strong focus on Lync 2010/2013 and sometimes OCS2007.

The idea behind this blog is to help IT technicians/consultants in troubleshooting and getting to know more about UC.

David Paulino

Hello! I work with IT since 2006. Since 2010 end, I started to study Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync, due to my role as Partner Technical Consultant for Microsoft.  My role was to help partners with pre-sales and deployment issues, helping to clarify doubts and to sell Microsoft products succesfully. Besides focusing on Exchange and Lync, I also helped partners with Windows Servers, SQL, Office 365, SharePoint, and so on.

Since 2012, I started to work on Microsoft Communications Support Team as well, first focusing on Exchange issues, and now, with David focusing on Lync and OCS.

Willing to share useful information to help the community with troubleshooting and good knowledge.
